OCTA Applauds Continuing Investment in the Workforce of the Future

David Koren, Executive Director of OCTA – Ohio’s Broadband and Cable Association, issued the following statement on Lt. Gov. Jon Husted’s announcement today of additional state investment in the workf

“As thousands of miles of fiber is laid to connect Ohioans across the state with reliable, high-speed internet access, having a stable and highly skilled workforce remains of critical importance to our broadband cable providers. Through significant investments, Ohio continues to see great growth in broadband connectivity and speeds, strengthening a vital part of our state’s infrastructure.  

“The OCTA – Ohio’s Broadband and Cable Association commends Lt. Governor Jon Husted and the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation for their foresight and understanding of our industry’s unique needs. Building a strong, technologically advanced team of Ohioans who are trained to support broadband expansion is key to accelerating our work to get all Ohioans connected to quality service.”
